AuctionPal.com: Does All the Work Associated with Selling on Ebay

Niki
Many people make good money selling stuff on eBay. However, it is not as easy for casual or one-time sellers. Figuring out all the fees, taking good pictures, having a good sellers history, paying extra to come up first in search results, etc... can be overwhelming.

We have all heard of some of the crazy and stupid stuff that has sold on eBay over the years, like lint balls. Because of this, many of us have the misconception that you can sell just about anything on eBay. The truth is out of the two million items posted for auction everyday, fifty-four percent of them never receive a bid. With eBay, even though your item does not sell you still have to pay the listing fees upfront, so if your item doesn't sell you've lost the listing fee. Yes the fees start at something like 0.39 cents for a starting price of 9.99 and under, but it is still a waste of your time and money.

Now there is AuctionPal.com to help with all of this. AuctionPal.com takes care of listing, payment and shipping steps for you for a small commission out of the final amount the item is sold for. All of eBay's and Paypal fees are included in AuctionPal's commission, which is really cool. Their commission's starts at twenty percent, there are three selling packages to choose from, the highest commission taken is thirty-five percent. AuctionPal will crop and enhance item images, write an eye-catching description, research the average selling price for the item you are selling, list the item under an AuctionPal's eBay seller ID. So, your item will not be listed under your eBay ID, heck you don't even have to have one. This is great if you have not sold many items on your own and do not have a high seller rating or you just want to sell a few items. AuctionPal also arranges for free boxes, packing materials, and prepaid shipping labels with buyers address for you to ship the item once sold. Then they take their commission and send you a check for the remaining balance, or you can have it sent via Paypal.

Aside from all of these great services that come with the lowest commission, you get even more with the higher commission. With the highest commission, an AuctionPal employee will come to your house take the pictures (right now, this service is only available to those that live it in the greater Boston area). They are looking for AuctionPal's for other cities, so if you are interested in going to people houses and taking pictures and getting information about items go to their website and click on 'jobs' to apply.

Whether you sell yourself on eBay or go through a consignment shop (that can take up to fifty percent commission), you are going to lose a percentage of your money, at least with AuctionPal your item could be sold for more than if you did it on your own. This is because of the combination of research and expertise from their seasoned employees that form an optimized selling strategy for your item. Note: they only deal with items that are valued at fifty dollars or more.

AuctionPal is partners with eBay, which is how they can get around the rule of "you must physically have the item you are listing for auction". They are also partnered with Paypal.com, craigslist.com, DHL, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

I am very happy with AuctionPal's services; I will use them again if I sell anything valued over 50.00 on eBay. My Item was sold quick (time may vary) and for more than I was expecting, A++ for AuctionPal.com
