Audacity of a Dope

Obama's Questioning of Palin's Experience

Amanda Keller
Upon hearing of McCain's choice of Palin for his V.P. slot I immediately expected the Obama folks to attack Palin as too conservative, bashing her pro-life, pro-marriage between man and woman, pro-drilling agendas but thought the Obama camp would be shrewd enough not to touch on the inexperience question. Shrewdness is not an arrow in Obama's quiver. Dopiness however is an arrow Obama pulls out time and time again. Camp Obama is actually playing Palin's small town record of elected service as a negative. Their memory banks must be as shallow as their character. Have they already forgotten the hot water the clinging to god and guns comment got them in? Dissing small towns only magnifies Obama's blindness to what makes America tick.

Not only is Sarah Palin's elected record much more impressive and viable than Obama's with her actual accomplishments of reforming the vast corrupt Republican machine that long held the state of Alaska hostage, she did it without the help of cronies or questionable supporters unlike Obama whose past is littered with corrupt shadowy figures. I am sure the McCain camp is licking its chops as the Democrats fall into the trap of bringing lack of experience up for discussion. Can the Republicans get any more gifts handed to them? This election was teed up for Obama to waltz away with the presidency but at every golden opportunity he seems to shoot himself in the foot with his own dopey arrows.

This is rich enough to be taxed by Obama or what? Obama is shocked that McCain would pick a neophyte to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Mr. Obama, I know you check the mirror often but I believe you need to look deeper, beyond your own flashy toothed grin and sparkling eyes to grasp this. You are the one who has zero executive experience. You are the one who has used all of your elected positions not to do the job you were elected to but to step stone to the presidency. You are the one at the top of a ticket with a stale political hack as your progressive running mate.

Truth be told, when I see Obama/Biden I see another Bush/Cheney. Really, Obama/Biden would be the ticket resulting in four more years of the same. Another mismatch of a skill-lacking, photogenic front man backed by the older, crustier Washington insider. One upside down ticket proved a series of missed opportunities. Another one with a liberal-leftist agenda would be a debacle.

What's becoming even more ironic is Obama's claim as the agent of change. People, Obama is nothing more than a retread of Jimmy Carter with a JFK make-over most recently placed in movie set of Spinal Tap. There was not one original idea put forth during that entire Democratic Convention. And how much taxpayer money went into that production for the Zeus Deuce? Mega taxes will have to be raised for once Obama is president I can't imagine the cost of his productions then! No wonder Hollywood loves Obama. He does the same thing they do, takes old ideas and repackages them flashy and slick to fool the folks, take their money and then tell them how great everything was. Obama talks bold and progressive but has nothing to exemplify his rhetoric.

McCain is the one who is bold and progressive. McCain, the true maverick, the one who bucks his party not for political expediency but for real ideals is the only person running for president who wants solutions more than he wants power. His track record is loaded with definable examples of his stances and his independent actions. If Americans truly want Washington cleaned up then they will vote for McCain. His running mate, Palin has an authentic resume as a giant slayer. She has no qualms about taking her own party to the woodshed when corruption has taken root. She's cleared the decks before and she will do the same again with McCain at the helm.

In contrast, Obama's bread was baked and buttered by the corrupt political machine of Chicago. Slime bags are who catapulted Obama to the forefront. He may have dissed some of those slime bags once their services were no longer needed but Obama is a slime bag hag big time. A person like Palin who actually destroys such political corrupt characters is a force Obama is not familiar with. He will be soon.

Heads are currently spinning in Camp Obama as the digging for dirt on Palin is no doubt underway. The mudslinging promises to be heavy over the next 60 some odd days but I have my money on McCain/Palin. They are kindred spirits who have each endured more personally than any stuffed shirt politician can throw at them. I am elated, enthused and energized over the Republican ticket. As long as the audacity of the Dope continues I predict a Republican victory come Fall.

  • Obama faults McCain for choosing an inexperienced running mate. Pot calling the Kettle.
Palin has nearly ten years more elected experience than Obama. Palin is the only one of the four in the race with executive experience.

Excellent article. Very well-written and informative. BlowHard is right--the Left is scared, and they're reacting as they best know how: with any vicious hate campaign they can muster and vilify everyone everyone and everything conservative. Thanks for shining the light of truth on the Obamites and their lies and misinformation. Great work!

Great article Amanda, and i agree with the previous commentator. The Dems are running scared and ya wanna know how you can tell? Read right here on AC the hate mongering from the usual suspects. They are scarred and they are expressing it the only way they know how - everything Conservative is bad, esp. Sarah Palin. That sound in the distance is the sound of their victory balloons deflating. Awesome Job Amanda!
