Video Content Ideas

- How To's: Step-by-step instruction videos shown in real-time, time-lapse, or photos with voice-over or text.

- News: Political speeches, sports games, local events, or any time-sensitive news worthy content.

- Original Film/Movie

- Product Review: Anything from clothing brand reviews to cell phones.

- Your Original Music Video

- Video Blog: Opinion/Editorial

- Home Movie/Family Film: Family vacation, funny kid films, or pet videos.

- Travel/Local Review: Hotel, restaurant, or business reviews.

Audio Content Ideas

- Original music: No explicit lyrics. All content must be PG rated.

- Podcast: radio, news, local event, talk show, etc.

- Interview: Author, musician, politician...

- Travel Guide

- Your original Poetry, Short Story and Memoir

- Humor (Original Jokes)

- Opinion/Editorial

Video Submission Process

1. Click on the Publish link in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Under Create Content click Video then click Select.

3. Click in the circle next to Display-Only.

4. Click in the circle next to Automatic Performance Payments Only.

5. Click Browse and search for your video file.

6. Fill out the Title and/or Subtitle.

7. In the Credit and Copyright box type your name (penname). All content on AC must be original content, meaning you must own the copyrights to the content you are submitting.

8. In the Video Caption box type in any information that your viewer will want to know. The more text you write with relevant keywords, the better chance your video will have to be found online. Min: 5 words, Max: 1,000 characters

9. Which category or categories best define your content?

- Select 1 or 2 relevant categories.

- To select more than 1 press Ctrl and click the categories with your curser.

- Time sensitive news content: email video@associatedcontent.com to get it published asap.

10. In the Search Tag box type 2 to 5 words or phrases that best describe your video. Phrases must be 2 to 5 words max.

11. Click Submit Video

Audio Submission Process

- Audio submissions are similar to video.

Common Declined Reasons

- Promotional

- Explicit Content

- Copyright Infringement/Plagiarism:

-- "Works published in 1922 or earlier are public domain... no new works will enter public domain until 2019."

-- You can add song clips that are 30 seconds or less for an intro, background or closing of a podcast or video but you cannot submit a whole song.

- Wrong File Extension

- Foreign Language: All content on AC must be in English.

- Poor Quality: Video content cannot be blurry. Audio content must be audible.

- Affiliate Marketing: Your content cannot be about or contain pay-to-click programs, auto-surf sites, or paid-to-read email networks.

Video: .asf, .avi, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv
