Auditions Information for David Cronenberg Feature Film 'Cosmopolis' Starring Robert Pattinson

Actor Robert Pattinson and the beloved French actress Juliette Binoche have officially signed on to star in David Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis," which is scheduled to begin principal photography on May 24, 2011. Casting for the film's co-stars, supporting actors, day players, and extras will take place in New York and Toronto where shooting will take place.

Robert Pattinson replaced Colin Farrell for the role of Eric Packer, and Juliette Binoche replaced Keira Knightley for the role of Eric Parker's wife. Paul Giamatti will play Benno Levin, aka, Richard Sheets, a psychotic man who stalks Eric Parker. Another French actor, Mathieu Amalric, has signed on to the film.

David Cronenberg has completed the adapted screenplay which is based on American author and playwright Don DeLillo's thirteenth novel published in 2003. "Cosmopolis" is the first direct adaptation for the screen of a DeLillo novel.
