Audrina Patridge Leaves 'Dancing with the Stars' - Bristol Palin & Kurt Warner Safe

The "Dancing with the Stars" Season 11 - Week 6 Results Show caught everyone by surprise as the lowest scoring two couples, Bristol Palin and Kurt Warner, were quickly declared safe, and two of the top contenders were declared in jeopardy until the end of the show. Then it was announced Audrina Patridge would be going home.

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas, Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya, and Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough Week 6 Low Scorers

The three couples at the bottom of the leader board for week 6 of "Dancing with the Stars" were Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya, and season 6 favorite Jennifer Grey and her partner Derek Hough. Kurt Warner was declared safe followed by Bristol Palin, but Jennifer Grey had to wait until the end of the show to learn her fate. (Examiner)

Kurt Warner on "Dancing with the Stars" Week 6

Kurt Warner, who finished at the bottom of the leader board for the first time in week 6, had tried hard to "bring that rock star out and bring that attitude to the ballroom" with his rock Paso Doble, but Carrie Ann Inaba told him, "It wasn't polished and didn't come together." Warner continued to be unflappable, saying, "You can't nail it every week. We're gonna give it our best shot" before learning he was safe for week 6.

Warner commented that he loved that "moment of intensity when all eyes are on you" that "Dancing with the Stars" offers, seeing it as an opportunity, adding, "What can you do in that moment?"

Bristol Palin on "Dancing with the Stars" Week 6

Bristol Palin landed at the 2nd from the bottom spot in spite of what the judges called her breakthrough performance of a rock Tango complete with air guitar - a performance chosen by the judges as their judges favorite for week 6. Her performance in the Tango helped Palin stay in the competition to compete again in week 7's 200th episode celebration.

Palin said, "I want to stay in this competition. I'm not ready to go home yet. I want to prove people wrong and show that I do belong in this competition."

Kylie Minogue & Heart on "Dancing with the Stars" Week 6 Results Show

With performances by dancers, Kylie Minogue ("Get Out of My Way") and Heart "Barracuda"), the results show continued to be a variety show, but the focus remained on the contestants.

Alice Cooper on Kurt Warner & Bristol Palin

Several rockers were asked to weigh in on rock week, and Alice Cooper said, "Bristol Palin has got guts and is a breath of fresh air" before adding that NFL superstar Kurt Warner was his favorite to win.

Audrina Patridge Leaves "Dancing with the Stars"
