Aunt Jodie Kicked Off from Jon & Kate Plus Eight

As we've all seen Jon & Kate Plus Eight end season four in daunting and saddened manner. We cant all help but notice that they don't seem as happy and full of life as they were in the first season of Jon & Kate Plus Eight. If you are a die-hard fan like me you know who Aunt Jodie is. We all know that this TLC reality show has Jon & Kate, their two twin girls, Cara and Madelyn.

And then they decided to have one more baby and they ended up with two sets of multiples. At first I started watching the season because I thought," Oh how cute, babies!" They babies are cute and fun to watch. The kids started to grow but another thing that caught my eye was the way Jon & Kate treated each other. I can actually admit that I got hooked. When I saw the previous commercials prefacing the finale of Jon & Kate Plus Eight I didn't even think about what the kids were gong to do. I was wondering if Jon and Kate were going to stay together.

After watching the show for a while I learned that Kate is a recovering clean freak. She has become authoritative and snappy as the show went on. I admit that "the love of money is the root of all evil." Jon was able to go to Utah to escape sometimes because he and Kate bought a Condo. They don't show the massive house much from the outside because its work 1.5 million dollars. The producers tried to keep the show and money out of it.

Well back to Aunt Jodie. Aunt Jodie wrote a blog titled "Truth Breeds Hatred," which she supposedly wrote. Aunt Jodie is married to Kate Gosselin's brother and they do help out with babysitting as you see on the show. Jodie was very involved for the first few seasons of the show. Aunt Jodie would do anything for Jon & Kate, watching her kids late at night and on top of that her own four children.

People were speculating that Kate got jealous of Jodie maternal skills and rumors have it that Kate suggested that Aunt Jodie was making her look bad in the show because she was better with kids. Kate was bitter because Aunt Jodie was patient and so kind to her.

It is also rumored that the producers asked Aunt Jodie is she wanted to get paid for being on the show and Kate Gosselin put her food down and said, "No one gets paid for this show except our family." After those words were exchanged Aunt Jodie never got put back into the show.

"Truth Breeds Hate" ran a video of Aunt Jodie and it showed her crushed because Kate treated her so awful. I hope that Jon & Kate take an incy-weency break from the show to fix their marital problems and their lack of communication. If they do read this I suggest that they try to change their attitudes now that everyone's watching. I do hope that they do get their things together before they come back so that they can go back to becoming people, and better people (good hearted) at that.

The finale of Jon & Kate Plus Eight showed another side of Jon. He doesn't want to go out in public and only be known as the guy from the show. He wants to be a separate entity. This is one of the thing that I think is very selfish of him. He is usually not outspoken but that show put him a different light for me.

If you also noticed Jon & Kate were sitting on opposite sides of the couch, not even touching. The couch is really small and they even complained about it on the show so they had to be putting a lot of effort to not be near one another.

They changed a lot from the first season to the last season. I hope that the listen to Kate and continue the show but I don't want its main focus to be Jon & Kate. I myself admitted that I almost stopped watching the show for the kids and tuned in to find out how Jon & Kate were doing.

They seem less romantic and when they were on the couch for the finale of Jon & Kate Plus Eight they were distant. It felt like a business task that had to done. When they were interviewing they weren't that excited to re-cap the memories of their kids. It actually looked like they didn't want to be there.
