Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey Review

I Thought This Honey was Kind of Expensive but it Tasted Really Good

I use to always have honey on hand because it was a main ingredient in the granola that I'd make on a regular basis. However, I found a recipe for granola that I like that doesn't require honey so I have not been getting it. I first tried the honey the other day while over at my friend's house. I had a honey and peanut butter sandwich and the honey used in the sandwich was Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey and here is what I thought about it.

This was the first time that I had ever tried Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey and I didn't recall seeing it before. My friend said that they found it at one of the grocery stores that I shop at. They also told me that it cost them three dollars and ninety-nine cents. I thought that this was a fair price for about one and a third of a cup of honey. It was more expensive than what I was getting before, Rice's Lucky Clover Honey, but I assumed that it would be a lot better. After tasting the sandwich I had a better idea of how good the honey was.

I would definitely say that the Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey was one of the best honeys that I have tried. I can see why it was priced as much as it was. It was not too thick, which I was kind of worried about. It had a very nice flavor and that made the sandwich very delicious. Something that I do recall about the honey that I use to get was that you had to write the company to get the nutrition facts. The nutrition facts for Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey were right on the back of the bottle so I was very eager to read them.

In just one tablespoon of honey there is some interesting nutrition. This is the serving size for the Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey and what I believe was what was used on the sandwich. There is sixty calories in this amount of honey, seventeen grams of carbohydrates and sixteen grams of sugars. Nothing else was listed in the nutrition facts. I wasn't surprised that the only things that were listed were calories, carbohydrates and sugars, it is after all honey that we are talking about. I was just happy to be able to see what the nutrition honey offered.

After much thought I decided that I would not get Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey myself. I plan on slowly weaning me and my son from diary, eggs and honey and approach life with a vegan diet. I am in no position to do this soon, but I figure there is no reason to get honey now that I don't need it for my granola. If I was going to get honey though I would definitely get this honey, although I would hope to find it on sale. For anyone who needs honey on a regular basis I would recommend getting Aunt Sue's Raw-Wild Natural Honey for its wonderful taste.
