The description on the back of the bottle reads, "Gentle cleansing formula for all hair types. Seventeen pure plant extracts fortify and nurture hair. Powerful anti-oxidants, vitamins A, C & E strengthen and protect against damaging environmental pollutants and sun damage."
I have long curly hair that tends to be dry so I know about hair care products. If your hair is going to look it's best you need a professional product. Aura shampoo is definitely a product that will keep your hair looking it's best. I have been told it is very similar to Aveda in ingredients, but is less expensive. You cannot find it at the grocery store, it is only sold by professional hair care establishments like Sally Beauty Supply. It is made by Zotos International, and they have an entire line of Aura aromatherapy products. Aura has numerous types of shampoos, conditioners, sculpting gels and even perms.
The only con to this product I can think of is that they are advertising this as a pure organic product. I don't agree. My hand almost went into cramps after typing in all the ingredients below. Ingredients like propylene glycol are approved by the FDA, but I guess I would just expect more from a pure and organic shampoo. As you can see they also have some healthy ingredients as well. Such as the carrot, flower, lavender, lemon, tea tree, almond, soybean, and castor oils. I would still give this shampoo a high rating because the bottom line is that it makes my hair look good.

Post a CommentI used to get Aura from Wal-greens. Alas they no longer carry it. I have also moved out of state. I still have some of the Elixir Leave-On Conditioner. So I thought while I was thinging about it I might try and Goggle it. Thank you so much. I love the wild cherry. I can smell it all day. Mmmmm all day.
