Ausar the Poet Induces Your Mind into a World of Ecstasy
One Taste of This Man's Oral Elixir and You Will Be Hooked!
From there (after my husband signed my permission slip) a working relationship between Ausar and I took off. I found out that this brother is very rooted in his manhood, has great confidence and a true love for poetry. He is a man of all the elements and he is very spiritual as well. His poetry has helped me grow in mentally and spiritual ways! I truly believe that he will help many do the same!
YB/AC: Ausar do you pick and choose the people that you are involved with or are they just drawn to you?
Ausar: "I love to surround myself around very positive people. I hate when any type of negativity surrounds me, negative energy is very easy to spread. Funny how when someone smiles at you, and you become calm and suttle as the day goes on. A frown? Hey a frown can be just as worse as calling someone out of their name. Life is hard enough, so I sift my way through the day by making sure I ward off as much negativity as possible."
YB/AC: I feel ya, that is a principle that I should try applying to my own life as well. It is so important to have people in your corner that are dedicated, honest and---LOYAL! I guess that could be the number one reason why I really don't have that many friends, I've been hurt too much. Tell me something Ausar. What is your project, "Oral Elixir" all about?
Ausar: Oral Elixir is a work that has been in progress for 7 years. I am very, very pleased with the finished product! Over the years, some
pieces I removed, some I added. The pieces that I removed will definitely be in my next book "Upon the Face of the Deep." Now that will be out in the fall of 2007. My goal with Oral Elixor, and those to follow, is not only to entertain, but also to provoke a deeper thought pattern within the reader. My hope is to expose and expand the "artist" hidden deep down within us all. My mission is to reveal to the reader the "True and Absolute Self that connects us to the Universe. Once we learn to tap into our universal selves...we can begin to be much truer to ourselves."
Ausar: "Yulonda you still there? What is the tapping or clicking noise?"
YB/AC: Damn...my bad! That was me, touching myself, pulling my earlobes and slamming these heels on the ground! You really got a sister trying to tap into her inner -self! Sign me up and sign a copy of your book when it drops!
Ausar: "You got jokes on top of jokes! If anyone knows you, you should have been a stand-up comedian!"
YB/AC: You so silly! We should take our act on the road! Okay, back to the real deal, when did you first get into poetry?
Ausar: "I stared writing poetry after the first love of my life broke my heart by deciding to roll out with a guy of material wealth. I prefer the wealth of knowledge over anything...anytime! Rich today...poor tomorrow! It really tore me up. I was lying in bed and the words just poured out. From there it made me reflect and a passion erupted from my soul. Next thing I knew I was buying spiral notebooks and writing for ever since my memory could serve me! I thank her for what she did!"
YB/AC: Yeah, you know you have evolved as a person when you can thank the person that caused great harm and pain in your own life. What can you tell me about some of your work?
Ausar: "I speak of life, love, hope, blackness, erotica and many more topics. I am here to inspire, uplift and to seduce your spirits to live life to the fullest. Please take your time and know that once you have entered my zone...you will never be the same. Neither Art, nor life, presents itself in black and white all the time. I implore you to use your abstract mind from time to time to take you away to a higher plane. Once you open your mind to the universe, the universe will reveal itself to you."
YB/AC: Okay you know I love your poetry and I push it no matter where I am at and I really love your work, so please tell me. Which one of your poems will you allow me to post in this interview? Oh yeah, please keep it clean or it will get cut down like six foot grass by my editor!
Ausar: "You can have my poem..."You."
YB/AC: Damn...I love that one right there!
Okay yall, I asked and here it is. Please make sure you swing on over to Ausars Myspace page and his website. I promise, you guys will not be disappointed!
Introducing..."You" by Ausar
You
Look at You,
behold You,
the shape of You...
a gorgeous woman, that's You.
Beautiful You,
sexy You,
delightful You...
the one who captures my eye, is You.
The feel of You,
the grip of You,
the squeeze of You,
is what I get in the arms of You.
When I kiss, there's You.
When I hug, there's You.
When I touch, there's You.
Making love to only You.
When I'm asleep, there's You.
When I awake, there's You.
When I think, there's You.
In my dreams, there's You.
The shoulder I cry on is You.
The ear I bend on is You.
The balance I weigh on is You.
On whose love I depend on is You.
The cause of my smile is You.
The cause of my laughter is You.
The cause of my joy is You.
The one that I love...is You.
The reason I live
is You.
All that I have
I wish to give to You.
In the morning
there is You.
In the afternoon
there is You.
In the evening
there is You.
Thru all the arguments,
trials & tribulations.
Thru all the disappointments,
still there is no leaving You.
I'll die for You,
kill for You.
And when I lay with You,
I'll thrill for You!
I'll tickle you
and tease You.
Lick You
and squeeze You.
Flip, toss, and turn You.
I'll do it all...
just to please You!
I'll grind with You,
69 with You.
Seek & find new ways
to blow your mind
with You!
I'll lay my heart on the line
for You.
Promise to be mindful to...
Love, Honor, and Treasure You.
Maintain, Protect, and Defend You.
From now...
until my life ends...
with You.
Okay, get to hopping on over to this mans site. This interview is too steamy to continue. Now I need to go find my husband! Yup, I said it. The Writer with a Purpose is on a mission to find the hubby, for some afternoon loving! Just imagine what Ausar's work can do for your life...and oh yes... THE BEDROOM!
