Austin City Limits 2010 Lineup
Some of the bands that I am most excited to see include Muse, The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, Devendra Banhart, Blind Pilot and First Aid Kit. An official list of scheduled performers can be found on the Austin City Limits website. Their site has a handy Facebook feature that allows you to share and comment on the shows you want to see. This is a great way to create your own personal lineup and organize meet up times with friends.
Festival Venue for Austin City Limits
Zilker Park is located at 2100 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78746. Visitors should note that there will be no parking available at Zilker Park, but there is a free shuttle that runs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. for the festival weekend. According to Capitol Metro, you can catch the shuttle at Republic Square. This three day festival is taking a green approach and aims to be carbon neutral. Attendees can purchase renewable energy tickets to offset their travel.
Art Market and Food Vendors
Austin City Limits Music Festival has much more to offer than live music. The festival grounds have booths where local artists sell their art, crafts and merchandise. There are also tons of vendors cooking up local cuisine. Grab a bite to eat and check out the activity booths between sets. There are music and dance workshops for kids too.
Where to Buy Austin City Limits Tickets
There are a few ticket options for this event. Tickets are available in one-day passes for $85 and three-day passes for $185. Children 10 and under get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket according to the festival website. As of press time, the 2010 Austin City Limits tickets are sold out for the festival's website, but tickets can be bought from third parties like StubHub. There are also some Austin City Limits tickets on Craigslist.
