Australasian College of Health Sciences (ACHS)

I have attended Australasian College of Health Sciences also known as ACHS for two full courses and am working on my third. It is a great school, in my humble opinion. Its graduates are well educated and accepted in their fields of study. Australasian College of Health Sciences offers a wide variety of courses in holistic health education. I have personally taken their Certificate in Nutrition, Bodycare and Herbalism and Certificate in Aromatherapy. I am also currently enrolled in their Holistic Health Practice. They also offer classes in Homeobotanical therapy, herbal medicine, flower essences and Iridology.

Australasian College of Health Sciences offers online interactive classes. There are places for students to meet with other students to discuss ideas and assignments as well as ask the instructors questions they may have. There is also online testing as well as an extensive library. The instructors for Australasian College of Health Sciences are also the best in their fields and most hold PhDs in their specialties.

There is also a real live staff at Australasian College of Health Sciences. They are on PST time zone they do answer their phones during normal business hours and they can be reached in the evening by appointment. They are there to help you with any questions or problems you may have. They also make sure that you are going in the right direction in your education for holistic medicine.

Australasian College of Health Sciences is an accredited college. They are the only national accredited college for distant learning offering complementary and alternative modalities, to include aromatherapy and flower essences. They are accredited by accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education Training Council (DETC), which is recognized by both the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as an accrediting body. Online schools that offer these same courses of study do not offer this accreditation and are therefore can not offer their graduates the prestige of a diploma from Australasian College of Health Sciences.

Sometimes deciding what school to attend is the hardest part. There are many things to consider when looking for an online school. If you do a search for online schools that offer aromatherapy you will get hundreds of hits. It can be confusing to say the least. While I highly recommend Australasian College of Health Science, I fully recommend that you do your own research. Know what you want to study and make sure you are taking classes from an established, well defined college with a good reputation.
