Authorities released yet another batch of court documents to the public concerning the Tara Grant murder case. In the records it is written that, among, other things found in the Grant home, was a torso, still dressed in underclothing and a blouse, but blood-soaked.

Most of the evidence released on this date, appears to mirror what Stephen said to officials in his confession given from his hospital bed on March 4, 2007. Grant was arrested after attempting to flee from police on March 3 and was found hiding in an Upper Michigan state park. The evidence released says tiny stains of blood were located on the walls and floor of the bathroom, in the Grant's bedroom and in the cellar.

Also written in the documents are reports of drywall patching of small holes in a closet of the home. The reports indicate that Grant had drilled holes through the back wall of the closet in order to peep into the adjoining room, which was occupied by the Grant's nanny. Video footage was also included in the records released to the press. The video contains footage of the Grant's family home and Stephen Grant's father's place of business, where it is believed that Stephen Grant used a band saw to dismember his wife's body. There was no video footage included, in the released documents, of the Grant's garage which is where authorities reportedly located the torso of Tara Grant in early March.

In the report, it is also written that police found a green spiral notebook in which Stephen Grant had scribbled a suicide note to his children. In his note, complete with numerous mis-spelling and close to illegible handwriting, Grant tells his children that he had a fight with their mother. It tells of how he hit their mother and got scared, which escalated him to murdering her. Stephen Grant also told the children that their Aunt Kelley would explain more to them later and that they should remember that he loves them both. The suicide letter ended with only three words, "I am sorry".

It is believed that more than 500 documents have been gathered by the Macomb County prosecutor's office, of which over 200 have now been released to the media. As Stephen Grant's attorney tries to get Grant's confession thrown out of court, the Macomb County prosecutor, Eric Smith, maintains that his office is abiding by Freedom of Information Laws in Michigan.

Currently, Stephen Grant's preliminary examination is scheduled for May 15.
