Statistics show women are lower risk drivers than men. Apparently, women tend to obey the law a bit better than men, which result in lower premiums.

Women usually head home to cook dinner, care for their family, or prepare for a night out with the girls. In addition, women are much more careful with how much they drink and where in order to stay safe. Men are usually unconcerned with the risks, which equal more male drunk drivers.

On average, female drivers can expect to pay less for premiums than men. This may change as more women choose careers and more men stay at home. For now; however, women should be happy to be a positive statistic.
