The performance on this vehicle is just as it has been expected. Audi decided to incorporate some new innovations to their industry famous Audi Quattro All-Wheel-Drive system, and include a new driver-adjustable suspension. Usually this type of equipments is only optimized for higher end cars, like the Ferrari. But, Audi is making it available to A4 drivers.
The exterior of this vehicle is just a more evolved look than the previous body type. It has a more "redefined" edge, gives it more of a sharp swift look. The headlights have been redesigned and newly outlined. What they have done is given the headlights a mean look with a row of LED's outline it on top. U.S.News claims, "...that give it an upscale look even for the upscale class."
Audi has kept their interiors almost identical for years, so why change it now? The controls and its sleek style are well liked by the test drivers. It still seats 5, while being the largest midsize class car, and has plenty of space, which is a highlight for many buyers. The A4 being the largest midsize car also offers the largest trunk among upscale cars, measuring out to 17 cubic feet! That's even larger than some family-oriented cars. Even thought the seating may be comfortable and spacious, the main feature of the interior is the upscale build quality of the interior and the very gentle and soft surfaces. It leaves many buyers with the "whoa" and "wow" thought after they have seen it.
When it comes to safety, there shouldn't be any worries. The 2009 Audi A4 received a perfect score of five stars in all its crash test ratings. Outscoring its German rivals. One could say Audi offers a safety standard package with all of their vehicles. Standard airbag system, antilock breaks, traction control, and an electronic stability control come with a purchase of a 2009 Audi A4.
In the reliability category, the A4 surely didn't take first, but it was far from last. It scored a measly 5.0 out of 10 by J.D. Power and Associates. Audi does provide a 4 year/50,000-mile warranty. On top of that, Audi also covers the first scheduled maintenance appointment along with providing a 12-year warranty against rust.
