AUTOart: The Best Large Model Car Brand for Hobbyists

Huge Model Cars with Immense Detail

Some of the best 1:18 scaled model cars are manufactured by a Hong Kong based company called AUTOart. Many hobbyists consider AUTOart the brand of choice for collectors who prefer to spend more cash on quality rather than quantity. This brand is well known for designing automobiles from American, Japanese, and European companies such as Dodge, Honda, Porsche, and Ford. Unlike many model car brands out there, AUTOart takes the time to add seatbelts, working handlebars, and detailed engines to both their 1:18 and 1:12 scale cars. The 1:12 model cars are, of course, limited edition and have insane amounts of details on them as well. Some of the 1:12 cars have working headlights along with engines that makes noises. These cars can cost as much as five hundred dollars at online shopping sites such as www.eBay.com. Believe it or not, AUTOart has a line of 1:43 scale cars as well and they are considered to be some of the most detailed miniature model cars on the market.

A German based company called Minichamps would be considered as AUTOart's top competitor in the model car industry since they are known produce expensive and top quality model cars. Minichamps mainly produces European model vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and even Rolls Royce. Unfortunately, they have minimal amounts of American and Asian cars available in their collection, thus making AUTOart a better choice for hobbyists who are new to car collecting. Like AUTOart, Minichamps also has a long line of 1:43 scale model cars and can cost a pretty penny depending which one you purchase. There have been a few that have easily fetched for over one thousand dollars on eBay. As a collector myself, I would strongly not recommend Minichamps as a first choice for new collectors since they are very expensive.

In conclusion, model car collecting is an excellent hobby for young adults between the ages of 18-35. It can be an expensive one, but if you take the time to explore the wide variety of model car brands out there but, I am one hundred percent sure you can eventually find an economical brand to invest on. According to www.diecastmodelcars.com, BBurago happens to be the least expensive brand of model cars depending on which scale you are looking for.
