Rejection happens when the white cells attack a new organ or other foreign object in the body. Our bodies are highly tuned machines that do not tolerate items that were not designed to fit into that particular machine. Each body is different and has its own fine tuning. Parts are not interchangable.
What is known as puss are the white cells that have died fighting whatever the foreign invasion is, such as an infection.
In the early days of North American settlements thousands of Native Americans were wiped out because their bodies did not have the immunities necessary to fight the disease Europeans had built natural immunities for.
Autoimmune disorders and diseases occur when this system of fighting a foreign invasion shuts down.
A number of years ago John Travolta starred in a movie called "The Boy in the Bubble". The movie was about a boy who literally lived inside a sterile bubble because he had no immune system. His body could not fight any infection or foreign object that entered his body.
AIDS Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is a similar condition. The cause is unknown but the results are the same as that of the boy in the bubble. The body cannot fight infections. It is one of those infections, often pneumonia, that causes death.
These are just a couple of the medical issues known as Autoimmune disorders and diseases. There are other such disorders and have any number of causes; some are known others may never be known.
Like many things in the universe viruses have begun to adapt to the world around them. Doctors are having to prescribe more and stronger anti-biotics to supplement what our bodies are designed to do naturally.
And as some of the viruses become stronger and new strains become known; it will be increasingly more difficult to combat them both naturally and with medical help.
