Autumn

Kelsey Dean
Crimson danced with Buttercup

And Lemon sang with Green

Pumpkin lit everything up

As Gold peeked from between

Emerald and Viridian

Slowly crept away

As Russet, Bronze, and Cinnamon

Leapt about and played

Amber, Maize, and Scarlet

Settled down to rest

As Rust became the starlet

And began to show up best

And finally, when Rust was beat

And White took on the lead

All the colors went to sleep

Until the spring took seed.

Love it! I miss living in a place where I could see the changes of the 4 seasons.
