Autumn changes everything
leaves slowly fade and die
and I wonder if I will see you again.
It may bring the great harvests,
Halloween, costumes, and masks
all too soon
Thanksgiving and joyous reunion
but where am I without you?
I'll cook the meals, I'll sort the feast
and my love devours you
as all-consuming beast.
