A Day of Balance
Light and dark are in complete balance
In some parts of the world, it is a grain harvest
Hearths alight with the glow of home fires
Baking a sweet loaf of bread to share
Now is the time to reap what you sowed
Those thoughts of growth are coming to fruition
Those seeds of hope and joy are bursting forth
Producing light for the darkening months
After this day of balance, the dark will win over the light
Take this day and enjoy the beauty of the summer
Harvest those grains and fruits and partake of them
Taste summer on your tongue and share with friends
