ALWIL is a Czech-based company from Prague that specializes in security software. The most popular, or what they call 'their flagship' product line is Avast! AntiVirus. Avast Professional Edition offers different price plans depending on the number of licenses purchased. After a 60 day trial, a license key must be purchased for continued use for 1 to up to 200 workstations.

Avast Home is highly recommended for home and/or personal use. There are many other free antivirus software programs for download but after several trails, Avast home stands clearly above the rest.
