Where are you bound?
Off to the South Pole, and then,
I'll turn around!
After I have turned 'round,
I'll come home, safe and sound!

After I have turned 'round,
I'll come home, safe and sound!
After I have returned home,
my son will make an icy dome,
and I'll give him a bear hug.
And take him off to Rome!
And when I die, I hope to go
to Heaven, my brand new home!
