Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub

I am always on the lookout for a good exfoliating scrub and I think I found one of the best with Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrubs. The skin on my face gets a litle dull and I like to use an exfoliator about 3 times a week to brighten up my skin. However, most exfoliating products are too harsh to use more than once a week so I went looking for something more gentle that I can use more than once a week. After trying a couple of different products that did not work well, I came up on Aveeno's Daily Scrub. I had heard good things about Aveeno, though I had never tried the brand before, and I decided that I should give this one a shot. I am so glad that I did! Accorrding to Aveeno the Scrub is "a unique formula that combines natural soy extracts with smooth, round microbeads to gently exfoliate while you cleanse, leaving skin soft, smooth and even-looking." The Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub has fine particles of exfoliators in it. Instead of feeling harsh and scratchy, this product just feels a little grainy. The product is a milky color is neither too thick or too thin. It has a moderate consistency and easy to dispense. It has a really pleasant floral or botanical scent. It's hard for me to pin it down but I really enjoyed the smell of the product.

When I used it on my face it went on smoothly. I was surprised at how gentle this product was. I'm used to exfoliators that feel like sandpaper and make my skin feel raw. This product did none of those things. The scrub got rid of the dead skin cells and left my face feeling fresh. In addition to the gentle exfoliaton this scrub did well at washing off makeup, dirt and oil. My face felt fresh and clean when I was finished with it. I was also pleased that once I rinsed the product off there was residue left behind. Many other exfoliators that I have tried would not rinse completely away and I would find little granules or beads in my hairline. This scrub did not dry my skin out and for me, anyway, it has been safe to use everyday. My skin is left glowing and fresh. This is one product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice gentle scrub.
