Aviator Laptop Stand: Comfortable Computing in Coach

Heather de Winter
Getting work done on a laptop while in an airplane seat is no fun. You can't type with the computer on your lap because you can't read the screen. And the awkward angle of placing the laptop on your tray table makes you feel like you have lobster claws for hands. Keynamics has designed the Aviator Laptop Stand to fit on an airline tray table, and allow you to see the screen even if the person in front of you reclines their seat.

Weighing only 9 oz. and easily breaking down to fit in a laptop bag, the Aviator stand raises the back side of the keyboard a few inches creating a comfortable incline for typing. Having the screen a few inches closer helps prevent eye strain and poor posture.

With more and more commercial airlines embracing Wi-Fi technology, the Aviator just might save your sanity, while keeping you occupied on your next journey.

The Aviator Laptop Stand is available for $19.99 from keynamics.com.

I like the Laptop Flip from newpcgadgets. It stores my Dell in the vertical position when not in use saving desktop space. In use it raises my laptop in the rear giving me better ventilation and improves my keyboard angle.
