My home is on the market and I had to make sure all my appliances were up to snuff. Naturally the moment I listed the home something stopped working. It was the ice maker in my Sub Zero fridge. I called a company that had been servicing my appliances for entire time I've lived in this home, over 30 years.

I made an appointment and explained I was listing my home and I needed this done as soon as possible. I was given a time frame and a specific day. I waited...and waited. I called to see what happened to the repair guys and kept getting an answering machine. By the time evening rolled around it was apparent they weren't coming. I was not happy.

It took three days of calling to get a human being to respond to my calls. I told them that no one had shown for my appointment, no one had called to say they weren't coming and I was left sitting for hours.and they were all apologies. They said they had a new guy doing appointments and the person had not recorded mine. We set up another appointment. There repairman showed up this time. He fixed my ice maker and was gone. I tipped him since at least he showed up and fixed the appliance. Not three days later the ice maker stopped working. Back to the phones. More calling with no human response. I left numerous messages on their answering machines. Finally I got a person, made an appointment and asked for the first call of the day. Well, guess what? The morning came and went...no one showed, no one called, no one anwered thier phones. Just that answering machine.. Here I was again, broken ice maker, answering machines when I called and no place to turn.

Again, days later I got a person and was told there had been traffic and they couldn't get to my street to make our appointment. Why hadn't they called me to tell me? No clue. Was there a traffic issue? No. They had mixed up my address and tried to get to a street I didn't even live on and then didn't let me know adding insult to injury. I was furious.Had they called I could have given let them know they were trying to get to the wrong place. I had not choice since they had my $400 but to make another appointment. The technician finally showed up fixed the ice maker and several days later it was broken again.

This time after calling and not getting any response I wrote them a letter documenting what I had been through trying to get this thing fixed. I did get a hold of a gal on one call and she said someone would call me right back. No one did. When I finally got the "owner" he said this was his daughter working the phones, she's fourteen. I told him this was very bad idea. Horrible for customer relations, simple courtesy calls should be made. Someone should be answering the phones or at least returning messages. He also told me this was his best technician working on my refrigerator but that he didn't call ahead. It wasn't his method! I said then you should find someone else. He told me the guy had never missed a day, he couldn't let him go.

I was told now they were waiting on apart. If I hadn't continued to call I wouldn't even have gotten this little tid bit of information. Out of the blue about a week later I get a call. "I'm on the way with your part, I'm 20 minutes away". This was the elusive technician on the phone. Lucky for me that I was home. I had now received no advance notice other than a few minutes time. The tech showed up...an hour later. He replaced the part. The ice maker is working, for now. I have to say the technician was very pleasant and seemed to know what he was doing. He definately tried everything to make sure all parts were working and explained what he was doing.

It's been quite an experience. I have no idea what happened to this company. Up until this last experience I had always had excellent service from them. Perhaps these are new owners.Everyone else that I've been dealing with in prepping my house for sale has been on time. done a great job, responded quickly to phone calls and have been beyond impressive service wise. Not this company. It's been a nightmare and I still may not be out of the woods. Its only been fixed for two days now. Time will tell. I dread the idea of trying to make contact with All Make again.

I would say avoid this company at all costs.

Since I don't live in your area, I wouldn't have occasion to use this company, but I feel so good that you are getting the word out to people who might have the bad luck to call them. This kind of terrible service hassle really bugs me, and I'm going through a similar nightmare right now with a state agency. People who transact business this way need to be called out. Life is stressful enough without people like this adding to the chaos.
