Avon Advance Techniques Straight & Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner Review

There are many women that have a common complaint about their hair. I happen to be one of these women that complain about having frizzy hair. I have had frizzy hair my whole life. My hair is very thick, wavy, and down to my hips. I have grown my hair out because the weight actually helps keep my hair from frizzing out so badly. It is still not tame enough in my opinion. There are many shampoos and conditioners out there that are designed for the problems that women have with their hair. I have tried many of them and one sticks out because of its performance. Avon's Advance Techniques Straight & Sleek product line is the best.

I decided to try this product line many years ago when I was still selling Avon. I thought it was worth the try because at that time I could buy a bottle of each, shampoo and conditioner, for one dollar, which was my cost. I bought a bottle of each and wanted to see how well they would perform. When they came in with my Avon orders I decided I would try them so I could see just how great of a product this was. I washed my hair as I normally would and used the Advance Technique Straight & Sleek Shampoo first. It had a pleasant smell that wasn't too strong. The shampoo lathered up well, much better than a lot of shampoos. After I rinsed the shampoo out I tried the Advance Technique Straight & Sleek Conditioner. It only took a small dime sized dollop, but I had much shorter hair then. I left in my hair like the bottle instructed and then I rinsed it out. When my hair air dried I noticed that my hair was easier to manage and was not frizzy at all! I never blow dry my hair because it makes it frizz worse. This is the first and only product that I had found that worked this well.

I have continued to use this product line, but I have tried a few more products to see if they perform better. I have not found any that perform this good! The only complaint I have is that the products do smell good, but they don't have an overly abundant scent. I wish they actually smelled stronger.
