Avon Skin so Soft Bug Guard Plus Expedition Product Review

I had ordered Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus Expedition insect repellent for a future camping trip but had the chance to put it to the test the other day. A friend of mine had to fix some fence out in the wooded area behind his house and I went to help him.

On the first day of fence fixing I didn't even think about putting on bug spray before I went, and I came home with about 4 pounds of seed ticks on me. The next day I brought the Bug Guard along with me to see if that would help any with the tick problem.

Before we went into the woods that day I sprayed on the Bug Guard. I wore blue jeans and rubber boots and I only sprayed the Bug Guard on my legs down to the bottom of my boots. I sprayed quite a bit on, but didn't put it on too heavy. I then tromped around in the woods all day as I had done the day before.

When I got home that evening I started looking for ticks. I did find a few of them, I think there were 4 all in total. Considering the amount of ticks that I had on me the day before, I was very happy with the results. I am quite certain that if I hadn't used it, then I would have been covered in ticks as before.

The Bug Guard can states, "Repels mosquitoes and deer ticks for 8 hours" and I purchased the aerosol spray unscented. The regular price for a 4 ounce can is $16.00, which is very pricey. However in the summer time Avon runs many sales on their bug sprays and you can usually get it for about half that price or sometimes even a little less. I really like this product and will continue to keep it on hand and use it.
