Avon's Invigorating Cleansing Scrub

A Product that Definitely Delivers

Every time I try new face cleansing products, I'm always very skeptical of what the product claims to do. It's really nothing personal, but some products really do sound too good to be true. However, I did decide to purchase and try Avon's Invigorating Cleansing Scrub to see what it was like. I was about out of facial scrub anyway.

This product is part of their Clearskin® line and comes in a small 2.5 FL OZ 'bottle'. On the front of this product, it says this product is anti-bacterial, with the main ingredient being an antiseptic which is used to kill germs and bacteria.

I read the directions which say to massage over face avoiding the eyes and then to rinse and pat dry. I squeezed the blue, thick looking substance into my hand and wondered how on earth this product could be a scrub, as it came out in one line and looked more like a cleanser.

I was wrong.

As soon as I began to rub my hands together, I could tell this product was definitely a scrub. And it definitely was invigorating. It smoothes over your face easily and feels smoother than other facial scrub products. As soon as this product comes into contact with skin, you can feel it working with a cool sensation that feels like its getting deep into your pores. The only downside to this is, it's possible for it to feel too intense for some people, as the cool sensation seems to intensify rapidly. However, as soon as this product goes on, it's time to take it off.

Unlike some facial scrubs and cleansers, this product comes off nicely, leaving behind a very clean feeling. The cooling sensation lasts a few seconds after it's gone, but left my skin feeling cool, clean and not rough. It didn't leave my skin feeling dry afterwards either, like some cleansers have a habit of doing.

Despite its small size, this is bound to last you awhile as you are only to use it once or twice a week, or anytime you feel you need a deep down clean. Its price will not break your wallet either, usually costing under $4 for it. If you are looking for a deep cleaning product because others just aren't cutting it, buy this!
