Awaken

Where have all our morals gone,
Where's our sense of self?
We're all too damned fixated on our rueful petty wealth.

We've lost our sense of justice,
And ability to try-
To ask the pertinent questions
Such as when, and where, and why?

When did this world have it's start?
Where do I go when I depart?
Why do I dream the things I do?
Why do I feel like I know you?

It's time for us to make a change,
Spark the light for open range.
Free our minds and hence our hearts,
Regress ourselves back to our start.

Right our wrongs,
Rethink the world,
Recreate and spread the word.

It only starts with one of us,
Yet each matters in the end.
All we need to do is open up and tell a friend.

And when the sense of truth sets in,
He will tell another.

This is the least that we can do now
For this earth we call our mother.
