How was your awareness? What does it mean? Quite simply, we all have blind spots in our business endeavors in our day to day routines and in our perceptions of what we see and do.

This is precisely why top athletes seek coaches. Sometimes it is all about your attitude and focus. Other times coaches are hired to improve a skill or technique.

Make it a point to seek the advice of a trusted group of advisers in your professional life. If you do not have a trusted group of advisers, begin your journey of forming one.

Think of the major levers in your business. Whether it is operations, marketing, sales or expense control, do you have a trusted adviser in each of these areas? What is your area of expertise? Whom can you serve?

Increase your awareness! Shine a light on your blind spots and form your own personal mastermind group -- you'll be glad you did!
