Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick

The weather here in Hartford, Connecticut became hot and humid a few days ago and I was eager to try out the Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick that I purchased a few months ago.

Previously, I had used several different Axe brand men's grooming products and found each one to be very effective. During the cooler months, I normally utilize other, lower priced antiperspirant / deodorants, but in humid weather, the bargain priced varieties don't seem to deliver the required amount of protection.

Last year, I purchased two other varieties of Axe antiperspirant / deodorant and thought they worked incredibly well. The Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick has exceeded my expectations. It worked so well, I decided to write a review of it.

The net weight of the standard - sized container of Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick, which is being reviewed here, is 2.7 ounces. In physical size, the container measures approximately 5.75" x 1.2" x 2.7" and provides many applications.

Price
The regular retail price charged for one 2.7 ounce container of Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick at Hartford, Connecticut area pharmacies and supermarkets ranges between $3.99 and $4.49.

While this price is double the price I pay for many other brands of antiperspirant, I do think the price is fairly reasonable, considering the exceptional quality of the item. When it comes to antiperspirant / deodorant, spending a little bit more for an effective product is usually a good decision.

Scent
Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick offers a very distinctive scent. When I chose this variety of Axe invisible solid antiperspirant, it was because of its scent and name.

The long - lasting scent offered by this item is a no nonsense blend of coconut, caramel and hazelnut. It sounds like I'm listing the ingredients in a dessert or candy bar, but this combination of scents produces a clean and appealing aroma.

Effectiveness
If there is any factor in reviewing an antiperspirant / deodorant, it would be effectiveness. No exaggeration, I think that Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick is the most effective antiperspirant / deodorant I have used in a long time.

After applying the product at 12:30 pm yesterday, it still offered complete protection at 2:00 am, when I went to bed. As far as reducing underarm wetness, I have yet to find another antiperspirant / deodorant that provides as much long lasting protection.

Packaging
Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick is packaged in a black plastic container with a purple and white front label.. Like most other Axe products, its sleek and stylish black design sets it apart from other brands on retail store shelves.

The product is exposed by means of a dial and the front label states it is "Approved For Hot Encounters."

Overall Rating
With Axe products maintaining a reputation of being attractive to women and a name like Excite, I looked forward to using this product when hot and humid weather arrived. After utilizing it for two days in humid, 90 degree heat, I'm very pleased with the performance of this antiperspirant / deodorant.

Although its price isn't cheap, this product is extremely effective and lasts for long periods of time. Without a doubt, Axe Excite Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick is a highly recommended product.
