AZADA

A Fantastic Magical Puzzle Game

Stephanie Rogers
Azada, an adventure-puzzle casual game, was developed by Big Fish Studios and is distributed by Big Fish Games. This game is a lot of fun and extremely addictive. The game begins by your character being magically transported into the study of a man named Titus. As the game progresses Titus tells you the story of how he came to be magically imprisoned in the book, Azada.

As previously mentioned, you begin the game in Titus's study. A bit of a tutorial is started to get you familiar with the game play. The object of the game is to complete each puzzle on each page of the book within the appropriated time limit. After a certain number of pages are completed, you must complete the chapter puzzle which is a harder puzzle but luckily there is no time limit for the end of the chapter puzzles.

The puzzles are great. Some pages contain rooms where objects need to be found and used together in order to escape the room. Other puzzles are really tricky. For example, matchsticks is a puzzle where a shape is made out of matchsticks and you have to create a different shape by moving a certain number of matchsticks around. Azada has many different puzzles and a great story to go along with it.

Azada was released on June 29, 2007 by Big Fish Games and has really made a name for itself all over the internet. It has been named the #1 puzzle game of 2007 and it was also a finalist in the Downloadable Game of the Year category by the Interactive Achievement Awards in 2008.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great brain teaser. If you like to try out games before you purchase them, Big Fish Games offers a 60 minute free trial that will have you addicted in no time. Good luck and game on.
