Baby Björn Best Baby Sitter Baby Bouncer Seat: Better Believe Balance is Good!

Brief Comparison of Baby Björn To Three Other Popular Bouncer Seats

T. H. Pankey
You want to balance a baby sitter with what you have to do, right? Baby Björn® Baby Sitter Baby Bouncer Seat is the best baby sitter a baby bouncer seat can be. Try saying that three times real fast, eh! Seriously, while Baby Björn is well-known for its carriers, such as the Synergy, Sport, and Air, what you should really be looking at from Baby Björn is its perfectly balanced baby seats.

Bouncer baby seats for infants and small toddlers, if you can even locate one, are too this or too that. Carter's Cuddle Me Musical Bouncer Safari Friends, at about $60, is an easily outgrown infant bouncer, which isn't too easy to put together for many persons. Plus, an infant's head tends to not be supported and may slump forward in it.

Fisher Price Baby Brentwood Rocker Seat, at about $70.00, looks really great, and overall is a great product, except for a few things: again, like the Carter's seat just mentioned, before long the infant will outgrow it. It's called a "Baby Brentwood Rocker Seat." However, it should really be called an infant rocker seat.

Infants can be called babies, and babies can be called infants; older babies can be called toddlers, and toddlers can still called babies; but, older babies or toddlers aren't called infants, and essentially, only infant-sized babies is what fits in the Fisher Price Baby Infant Rocker Seat.

Another drawback to this baby sitter rocker/bouncer seat: remember, while the infant is using it, the infant's eyesight is poor at best. That means if you want the infant to focus on anything, it has to be up close, such as what a toybar provides. Only thing is there is no toybar to this seat.

Summer Infant Deluxe Soft Embrace Gund Bouncer is a great little seat at a great little price, about $50. But, putting it together can be slightly problematic, and don't plan on picking it up, or better yet, plan on taking more than the usual extra caution when picking it up, while the baby is in it. Too, the vibration motor is far too loud.

While the three seats mentioned above don't cover the gamut of baby sitter baby bouncer seats, it's enough to contrast how the best baby sitter baby seat is the Baby Björn.

The Baby Björn baby seat can be used to baby sit your baby from infant through toddler age. An infant's head doesn't slump forward in it, and essentially, it can be used almost right away to baby sit-even a newborn-if you choose. If you have a girl, you may be able to use it until she's about three years old, and a boy perhaps you can use it until he is about two and a half years old.

The maybe and perhaps in the previous sentence is because, on average, boys and girls reach about thirty pounds around the ages mentioned, and going on weight alone for how long you can use it, the Baby Björn can accommodate up to about thirty pounds. This, also, means your toddler age boy or girl can be told to, or on their own, climb in and out of the seat.

It's not difficult to put together. In fact, there's nothing to put together: slip the material over the frame and voila! Adjust it to one of the three position settings and it's ready for use. Too, when you want to take it with you somewhere, unlike all of the previously mentioned bouncer seats, Baby Björn Baby Seat isn't cumbersome at all. All you do is fold it down, and again, voila! Put it under your arm or hold it in your hand and carry it away. Picking it up with or without baby in it is a snap, because it's very sturdy, lightweight, and easy to get a hold of in a secure grip.

A toybar with large, colorful, spinning wooden toys firmly attaches and detaches to the chair. You can adjust the toybar up and down, according to the infant or baby's size and capability. If the baby is no longer interested in the toybar altogether, or only at a particular time, or you need to get it out of the way to feed, or something, just detach it.

If you want to rock or bounce the infant, the frame is designed to do so, using only minimal effort with your fingers you can bounce or rock your little one. The design of the Baby Björn rocker or bouncer seat works with whatever the weight of your infant, baby, or toddler is. In other words, it doesn't matter whether more or less weight is in the seat, it's designed to rock and bounce according to whatever weight is in it. Too, the Baby Björn gently rocks when an infant or baby moves on their own in the seat, and rocks gently or more so when a toddler moves on his own in it: it just depends how much your older little one wants to rock or bounce in it, since unlike infants, toddlers can conscientously control how much they may want to bounce. Though, Baby Björn's well-balanced seat is better as a simple baby sitter and chair than it is a rocker and bouncer.

A couple of more things, although several more could be stated for the purpose of making the case for a Baby Björn baby sitter bouncer seat: unlike other baby sitter bouncer or rocker seats, the material that is the Baby Björn seat and separate restraint system is easily removable and washable; and, you can change up the color schemes to four different color combinations, or more, since both the seat and the restrainer are reversible, and you can purchase additonal seats and restrainers in different colors.

Where some parents, or parents-to-be, balk is at the price: about, $100 to $150 new. However, do the mathematical comparisons using the typical prices above for the other three bouncer seats mentioned, with the addition of whatever else you may buy as a replacement seat for the soon-enough time when your little one outgrows it, and so forth, and you begin to see how $100-$150 is actually a good deal-all things considered. Again, Baby Björn is the best baby sitter bouncer seat. Take a further look into Baby Björn for yourself by clicking here, so that you can make your own informed opinion.
