Atlanta, Georgia based rapper Baby D has been rapping his he was sixteen years old. Now in his 20's Baby D is back with his most commercially viable album A-Town Secret Weapon. Will Baby D finally crack through into the mainstream?

The first single off of A-Town Secret Weapon is the infectious I'm Bout Money. The track features singer Blaze. The song features a simple chorus that almost anyone would relate to along with a hard hitting catchy beat. The song was the perfect choice for a first single.

Do It is a very dance friendly song which is similar to a modernize version of the once popular Snap music popularized in the South. The song is fairly solid and catchy.

On Icey Baby D is joined by Gucci Mane and Shawty-Lo. The song is a standard Southern posse track. The beat is fairly catchy however the flows on the song just are not that strong.

Get It Girl is another solid track. The star of the track is R&B singer Blaze who shines on the song. The beat is very catchy and club friendly. The chorus is also solid and catchy. The song is one of the better tracks on the album and is a sure fire single.

Put 'Em Up teams Baby D with Pastor Troy and Sean P formerly Sean Paul of the Youngbloodz. The song is a street friendly posse track. The song is fairly solid and will definitely get the streets excited about Baby D.

So Fresh features Sandman and Backbone. The song is fairly catchy with a simplistic beat which is also very club friendly.

U Gotta Love It is a typical Southern track. The song glorifies life in Atlanta and shows off Baby D's frenetic rhyme style.

Girls Gone Wild once again features Blaze. The track is not as strong as their two previous efforts; however the song is still never solid.

Escobar and Loko join Baby D on Get Out. The song has very strong elements of reggae which makes the track different than other songs on the album.

Overall A-Town Secret Weapon is a much stronger album than predicted. The album features a number of solid songs which will appeal to the clubs and the streets. Overall A-Town Secret Weapon gets 7.5 out of 10. If you are a fan of Baby D's make sure you pick up A-Town Secret Weapon when it is available in stores on April 29th.
