Baby Delivered Then Headed Straight into Glory

Jenny Heart

A fetus strives to be born

It wants to feel, and see

Beyond the darkness

And feel

What has been long awaiting it

One morning a special gift from God

Was taken straight into glory

The doctors told my sister

Her baby boy would surely die

She took needles straight

Through her body

Down into the babies heart

To hopefully give him

A whole new start

It didn't you see

The baby lived

But only to die

Within minutes to an hour.

All her needles

She embraced

Did give her baby

Enough time to be baptized

Then her new born baby boy

Patrick

Went straight into glory

On March the second

Reflection

My sister Brenda lost her baby boy many years ago on March the 2nd. She fought for her child like any loving mother would. She's finally starting to feel more comforted knowing he's with God in heaven. She's a Christian; however what she went through placed a scar almost too big to conquer. Because of many prayers her life is starting to stand on solid ground, instead of sinking sand.

I just wanted to do this for my sister. I want her to let Patrick go now, straight into glory, and never feel total anguish ever again.

This is a tribute to Patrick , his mother Brenda, his father Donald, his sister Christy, and brother John.

I want all his loved ones to feel he is there with them in their hearts forever and a day, until the angel rejoice with them in heaven one day.

I can't imagine the pain you all felt at losing your sister's baby. So sad. Your story is so beautiful I could almost see God wrapping his loving arms around all of you with Patrick in the middle smiling up at all of you. Sad sweet story.
