Baby Diapers: Which Ones Are the Best Value?

White Cloud Gets My Vote for Value and Protection

Chris Marcum
Which diapers are really the best value for your money and work the best? The market for new parents is a mine field. The advertisers would like to make you think that name brand is the only way to go. After all you would only want the best for your new bundle of joy. I am here to tell you they are wrong the highest price doesn't mean the best.

I was that very same new mom and before my child was ever born, I went out an bought several packages of the name brand diapers. I was told Huggies were the best. At the time Huggies had the umbilical cord cut out for the newborns. No one ever mentioned to me that not all babies are newborn when they are born. My daughter was a stage one baby, skipped right over the newborn. All those packs of diapers that I so neatly placed in my diaper caddy and diaper bag couldn't be used, at least not by my kid.

I was way into my daughter's first year before I ever tried another brand of diapers. I switched once to pampers because they fit better than Huggies, but they too are one of the higher priced diapers. Then my sister, who is a high school science teacher, did an experiment with her students to see which diaper really worked best. Guess what it was none of the high priced diapers. The winner every time was a Walmart brand diaper called White Cloud.

White Cloud diapers are sold exclusively at Walmart. I tried these diapers and they quickly became my favorite. I have never had a leaky diaper like those other guys claim you will have and they hold more urine than the brand name diapers. My husband for the longest time fought me on trading in the name brand until he saw that the White Cloud brand was just as good. Really who is ever going to notice you use a cheaper diaper and do you really care if they do.

Considering the price for a value pack is around $15 for the White cloud and the same number of diapers is around $24 for the other guys. It's a no brainer which one is a better value.

I love White Cloud diapers, I never had any problems with them. I just make sure I change my babys diaper when I can tell its wet, like i should. They are the only diapers I used when my daughter got a diaper rash and it seems to clear up a lot sooner than using the same name brand diapers. I switched to them completely and she seems so much more comfprtably in them. They also strech perfect for her. I will never use another diaper than White Cloud!!!

I like Parent's Choice. But cloth diapers are the very best value. :)
