Baby Food Diet: Jennifer Aniston Says "NO WAY!"

So How Did She Lose All that Weight?

Reports and rumors have been circulating that Jennifer Aniston is part of the celebrity crowd that is using the new fad of a baby food diet to lose weight. According to Monsters and Critics.com, Aniston has spoken to People Magazine to deny the allegations that she lost all of her weight recently by using the "Baby Food Cleanse."

Baby Food Diet Developed By Tracy Anderson

Tracy Anderson is one of Hollywood's most sought after trainer. She works with elite clients such as Jennifer Aniston, MaDonna and Gwyneth Paltrow. Tracy Anderson also has a selection of training videos and DVD's on the market.

Reportedly, Aniston needed to lose a few pounds for the new movie, "Just Go With It" that she is shooting in Hawaii. Anderson claims to have put her on the baby food diet cleanse, yet Jennifer denies it.

Anderson's baby food diet plan includes 14 portions of pureed food a day, then eating a regular dinner. Anderson says that her diet plan is better than liquid diets, because you will tend to gain the weight back as soon as the diet is over.

If this baby food diet is so great, why would Jennifer Aniston deny being on it? Aniston insists she has been on solid food for 40 years now, claiming the last time she ate baby food was when she was one year old!

Nutritionist and Critics Weigh in about the Baby Food Diet

Nutritionists say that the baby food diet is a hype! According to Elisabetta Politi, nutrition director for Duke University Diet and Fitness Center, there is no way the baby food diet can satisfy your food cravings or your palate. Taste is all apart of our eating pleasure. Baby food is mushy and tasteless.

Besides, according to Politi, there is no chewing involved and it takes twenty minutes for the stomach to tell your brain to tell you it is full. You can swallow baby food much faster than that, so it is not very satisfying.

Politi says that there isn't any need to cleanse the digestive track if you eat healthy. That is what the baby food diet is supposed to do, as it has no fats or unhealthy additives to "clog" up the system. Politi also states that there is no medical research to proof that cleansing improves the digestive track.

Fad or Fabulous?

Is the baby food diet just another fad among the binge and cleanse eaters, or does it really work? Reports say that Aniston lost 7 pounds in a week using Anderson's diet plan. She says she is not using the diet plan, so how did she lose that weight? Celebrity's are always on the look out for the next best great way to look good in a hurry. Perhaps they should look back at the entire fad diets to come and go over the years. Some had some very ill effects over time.

Perhaps celebrities, trainers and any one else wanting to lose weight and look good should consider just eating better all the time instead of a gorge and binge life style! Baby food is just fruits and vegetables all mashed up. Are these people becoming to lazy to even chew?
