Baby Killers!

A 6 month old baby, Jordan-Leigh Norton, was stabbed in the back of the neck with such force it severed her trachea and she died. The biological father was in a relationship with Dina Rodrigues who master-minded the plan to have the baby killed in what appeared to be an attempted robbery. Ms. Rodrigues was angry that baby Jordan's mother was attempting to get child support from her boyfriend. She hired two thugs to force their way into the baby's grandfather's home to subdue him while he babysat. The Capetown police became suspicious because little of value had been stolen. Investigation led them to Ms. Rodrigues and her gruesome plan.

Some baby killers target infants as an act of revenge or jealousy towards a parent.

After losing her job at a Social Security office, Natalie Rodriguez, age 23, moved in with a lifelong friend, Giselle Colon. Natalie often drank, became nasty and refused to pay rent. She was asked to leave. For revenge she took Ms. Colon's 9 month old baby, Xavier Antonio Miranda from his crib. She slashed his throat, put him in a trash can by a neighbors driveway, leaving him to bleed to death.

Hipolito Ortiz set his car on fire at the workplace of his ex-ladyfriend killing his 2 children a 2 year old and 6 year old.

Pregnant at 16, Jessica's mother kicked her out of the house and she was put on Child Protective Services. The baby was given up for adoption when she was 18 months old due to continued abuse. Jessica Leanne Hoosier, now 26 abused her 2 month old son. The baby had a fractured skull, arm, ribs and was malnourished when he died. Her two daughters ages 1 and 2 seem unharmed. The mother said she hit her son because she was mad at his father.

Baby killers are often boyfriends of a baby's mother.

Acela Moreno and her boyfriend, Manuel Velez were charged with murder when her son, 1 year old Angel Moreno, was found dead. It is believed that Velez violently shock the boy in anger. The boy's body was covered with cigarette burns and bite marks.

Jay D. Decker killed 5 month old Risha Lafferty through repeated abuse. Skull fracture, signs of being shaken and more than 30 bruises or eternal injuries were found on her body. Mother, Brandi Mae Hendrickson was charged with a misdemeanor in connection of her daughter's death. She left both of her daughters in the care of Mr. Decker even after having found injuries on baby Risha, that he attributed to accidents.

Statistics show that the majority of infant murders are committed by parents.

Chad R. Spenger was 24 when he he threw his 9 month old daughter onto a hardwood floor in a fit of rage over her crying. The baby died. Eli Pimstein dug a grave for his 22 month old daughter, Hodaya, a month before murdering her. He was suffering from depression over relationship problems with Hodaya's mother, Roni Kedem.

People are either saddened or horrified when mothers become baby killers.

A baby found dead in a suitcase was dubbed "Baby Moses". The murderer was the baby's mother, Dana Deegan, who gave birth at home. She cleaned, dressed and fed the boy and left him alone for two weeks to die. She put the body in the suitcase and threw it in a ditch.

In Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, 17 year old Amy Weiss confessed to putting her newborn son in a bag throwing him into the Tamarac canal where he died. Samantha Hirt was 28 when she ignited a fire that lead to the death of her 3 year old son and 2 year old daughter from smoke inhalation. Mrs. Hirt suffered from manic depression and was being treated with Effexor when she killed her babies.

Depression, mental disorders and religious beliefs are often cited as reasons people became baby killers

Annie Mae Haskew was 22 when she smothered her 10 week old baby causing his death. Mine Ener slit her 6 month old daughters throat. Both Annie and Mine were taking medication for postpartum depression

Unmarried, Donna Michelle Knight, 38, concealed her pregnancy and drowned her newborn son because, she said, she feared repercussions from her church. Deanna Laney bashed her sons' skulls with rocks, killing two and maiming a toddler. She is reported as saying "God told her to do it".

Dena Schlosser cut off her 10 month old daughter's arms. She called 911 and when the paramedic's arrived they found the mother holding a bloody knife and listening to a church hymn. Her older daughters aged 6 and 9 were sent home to live with their father after being in foster care for two weeks. The father is reported as saying his wife had read Bible Scripture and told him the night before she wanted "to give her children to God". An investigation for child neglect had been closed after 7 months, prior to Dena killing her baby.

According to the Old Testament of the Bible, God sanctioned the killing of all Egyptian first-born children in the last plague before exodus.

Sharon Alley and her husband, Bobby separated after she fractured their 5 week old daughter's skull by throwing baby, Brooke on the floor. A voice in her head told her to do so. A judge granted her joint custody of the baby and her 8 year old son when the couple reconciled. Baby Brooke died when Mrs. Alley plunged a knife into her heart. Mrs. Alley regularly attended church, singing hymns and reading the Bible at Chapel Church of Brethren. She was treated for postpartum depression with Praxil.

King Herod ordered all male children in Bethlehem two or younger killed.

Andrea Pia Yates drowned her 5 children, ages 6 months to 7 years old in the bathtub. Her husband, Rusty, involved them with a Preacher, Michael Woroniecki. The preacher and his wife, Rachel berated Andrea. They preached that all women are evil daughters of Eve. Further, that if children misbehaved the mother would go to hell. Evidently through their sick, twisted preaching they convinced Mrs. Yates that she was an unfit, evil mother with evil children. Basically, Mrs. Yates came to believe she must be punished for bringing "the devils spawn" onto the earth.

Murder of female babies has been practiced in patriarchal societies, such as China. On August 10, 1810 Cherokee children were slaughtered in Ywahoo Falls Kentucky to help eradicate the "Indian" population. Nazi Germans committed genocide to eliminate people they deemed an inferior race including killing babies. North Korean officials claim it is a lie that babies born in refugee detention center are killed by abandonment or smothered with plastic sheets. Escaped prisoners claim to have been forced to kill and bury babies. One witness reported watching a doctor step on a baby's neck.

Barbara co-conspired to become a baby killer when she allowed her physician to surgically remove a embryo from her fallopian tube. Etopic pregnancies never result in a live birth. The fertilized egg can implant itself in the ovary, cervix or abdomen. If the fetus becomes large enough it will burst the organ where it has been growing. If the pregnancy is not terminated it leads to the woman's death. Christians in the United States of America have denied women the liberty to choose to save their own life, in favor of the rights of a microscopic cell or undeveloped embryo.

Sue became a baby killer when she terminated her pregnacy so that she could receive cancer treatment that might have harmed her fetus. Under laws in many US States a cell, embryo or fetus has more civil rights, than the female whose body hosts the cell, embryo or fetus. Because Christians liken terminating pregnacies to baby killing, perhaps anyone who causes an unnatural abortion should receive the death penalty or be stoned to death under old Hebrew law. Christians hold up ancient Armaic text as their proof of why their will should create the laws of modern government and be imposed upon non-Christians in a democratic society.
