Choosing a name for your child can be a difficult task. A child's name is important. Their name is how they identify themselves and it is what they answer to. When choosing your child's name it is good idea to stray away from using common baby names. But it is not a good idea to be too different and outlandish when picking the names. The more eclectic and strange sounding your child's name, the higher their chance becomes of getting picked on in school. If a child gets picked on in school because of their name they might go through life resenting their name and maybe even you for giving them that name.

Because it can be very difficult to pick your child's name let alone two names for two babies I have included some great names for your boy/girl twins, the name meanings and their origins.

Tabitha and Tobias- Tabitha is a girl name and is Aramaic it means gazelle. You may be thinking to yourself where is the originality in the meaning of gazelle? Well, a gazelle is a small, delicate, graceful animal that is native to Africa. They are very swift and delicate animals with neat color patterns. Young girls are so precious and delicate and so the name is fitting. Tobias is a boy name and is Hebrew/Greek and actually means God is good or the Lord is good. This name is a bit more pious but has a very significant meaning.

Charles and Carla- These names are common but sound really great together. Charles is a boy name and is old German and it means manly or strong. Carla is a feminine form of Charles and a short from of the name Caroline which is Latin, and means little and womanly.

William and Wilhelmina- William is a common boys name and is Old German and means determined Guardian. Wilhelmina is not a very popular girl's name. It is also Old German and also means determined guardian.

Liana is a woody vine in the tropical rainforest that is rooted in the soil and climbs up other plants in the forest. The vines climb up other plants to reach access to the sunlight. You could choose the name Liana for a baby girl that you see as always reaching up to the light. Louis is a common name for little boys. It is Old German and means renowned warrior. Louis has a very strong name meaning.

Ella and Ellis- Ella is Old English and means elf or beautiful fairy woman. Ellis is an alternative form of the name Elijah which is Hebrew and means Jehovah is God. It is also biblical in that it is the name of a great Hebrew prophet.
