Ingredients
¼ kg baby potatoes (par boiled and peeled)
4 tbsp cooking oil
½ cup fresh curds beaten
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala (mixed spice powder)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander finely chopped for garnishing
Method
Heat oil and add the baby potatoes. Fry till they turn light pink in colour. Remove. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a while. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder and the baby potatoes. Sauté for a few minutes, add the freshly beaten curds, salt and garam masala (mixed spice powder). Add 2 cups water and let this cook for 15-20 minutes. Remove from fire, pour in a serving dish garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with fried rice or chapattis.
