Baby Suffers Alcohol Poisoning

Nikki Daniels
In Colorado Springs, two month Christina arrived at Memorial Hospital Saturday night with an alcohol level of 0.364; which is 4 times the legal limit of an adult driver. Jessica Smith, Christina's aunt, says the mother accidentally mixed alcohol from a water bottle with the formula.

Later that evening, little Christina became ill from the alcohol resulting in wheezing and acting strangely. The mother and boyfriend took her to be seen. The mother has thus far given authorities conflicting stories regarding the incident. The Associate Press reports that the El Paso County Department of Human Services has custody of the baby.

This is my theory: when she boiled water to make new formula feeds for her baby, she needed a glass bottle to store it in the fridge (put freshly boiled water in an empty plastic water bottle and the plastic will melt) and she used an empty vodka bottle (that she had sterilized before with boiling water), only the problem was that she had another bottle of vodka in the fridge (that was not empty). Vodka does not have a smell and when she made a new milk feed for her baby, she accidentally took the wrong bottle.
Or else, the mother was drunk and should have hired a babysitter instead of tipsily mix the powder and water.

THANK GOD they took that baby into custody. How do you not know vodka from water! How sad for her.
