Your baby's first teeth are very important. Their also important for chewing food and learning to speak clearly. In order to maintain good oral health for your child follow these simple rules: Wipe your baby's gums gently with a clean wet cloth after each feeding, before your baby has teeth. Never put your baby to sleep with a bottle, unless it has only water in it. This is very important because it causes cavities. When you notice your baby's first tooth to appear, start brushing it. You could start brushing it with a small amount of fluoride toothpaste. Brush your baby's tooth in the morning and before bedtime. What is fluoride? Fluoride is a mineral that the protects teeth. If water in your community does not have added fluoride, talk to your doctor about fluoride drops. Fluoride fights cavities. Some tap water has fluoride. When you notice your baby's first tooth, put a small amount of toothpaste across a small soft brush, and brush tooth softly. If tooth brush has a lot of toothpaste wipes off excess until child can spit out. If you want to avoid spreading germs to your baby, never put anything in your baby's mouth if it has been in your mouth. Don't kiss baby on the mouth. Don't cool off food or pre-chew food in your mouth before giving it to your baby. If you want to reduce germs in your mouth adults could chew sugarless gum or mints that contain X ylitol.This would reduce germs in your mouth. Don't share spoons, cups or toothbrushes, these cause cavities. Taking care of your baby's teeth is an important step in the keeping your baby healthy. Cavities are the most common childhood health problem. So you as a parent play a big part on their health.

How to ease your baby tooth when they are coming out.

Babies usually start teething at 4-6 months old. Teething could go on until baby is 2-3 years old. The baby's new teeth are working their way through the gums. Some redness with small bumps is teething. You visible see the baby's swollen gums. Baby is crying or fussy. Baby put things in their mouth, chew fingers. You always see baby's drooling. They are also wet from mouth and chin. You might see black or blue spots on the gums. Give your baby Tylenol. Only give Tylenol if baby is crying, or fussy. Ask a doctor first to see how much medicine to give. To relieve pain, rub baby's gums with your finger. You could also use a cold wet cloth to help relieve pain. Hard teething ring would also help. Put the hard teething ring inside the refrigerator for an hour. After take it out. Give to your baby and this would help relieve pain. If you don't have a hard teething use a cold wet cloth so the baby could chew. You could also use teething medicine, but follow instruction.

Call doctor when baby cry's all night. If you have questions call doctor.

What else you I know about teething?

Baby's get their teeth rot by laying them in bed with a bottle or sippy up milk or juice. Do not tie a teething ring around baby's neck. This can cause choking. Clean baby's gums and teeth after meals and before bedtime with soft toothbrush or wet cloth.
