Babya's Media Event to Be Held on February 20

Babya today announced that it will be holding an online media event on February 20.

The event will focus on updates and announcements relating to Babya software such as Babya PhotoPro, Babya bSuite and Babya System.

Featuring a keynote presented by A.A. Fussy, the event will include previews of Babya Lava, Babya Shake, Babya Video Capture and the release of a beta version of Babya PhotoPro-Babya's new professional imaging suite.

Babya's A.A. Fussy noted, "You'll be amazed at what we'll be showing off on February - perhaps you will be interested to know PhotoPro is the best image editor around."

He added, "We'll also take a look at some of the Babya Production Suite components-such as Babya Video Capture Suite. You can also expect the release of a new Babya Discoverer,the first beta of Babya PhotoPro and a new Babya bSecure version."

Babya's product manager for digital media, Alvin Novick commented, "I'll giving a preview of Babya Video Capture Suite and of Babya bMovie Pro during the keynote."

Some of the products to be announced or previewed at the event will include:
Babya PhotoPro-is based on Babya Photo Workshop XL and has several new features such as 'sculptures', built in image tracing and a expanded set of drawing tools.

Babya Video Capture-is Babya Production Suite's video capturing software.

You can use it to capture footage from DV/TV tuners/webcams/video-in and save the captured video in either a AVI file (using any of the available video codecs on your PC-such as VP61, uncompressed full frames, Microsoft video formats) or as a Babya MVF format file-with the ability to create a self-playing movie.

Babya Video Capture Suite can also be used for desktop screen captures.

For instance you can capture from a webcam (eg. MS Lifecam, Logitech QuickCam) to a AVI file for use in Babya Presenter DX.

Babya bMovie is a graphical tool for creating Microsoft DirectShow Editing Services timelines and editing of Babya XTL format slideshows.

Babya Logic is an powerful suite of pro-quality audioproduction software, included with Production Suite which includes Babya Logic, a 8-track music creation application-that enables you to create and compose music and also includes Babya Jam Pack: Studio tools, Babya MicroKit and UltraSynth.

Version 3 will be previewed at the event.

Babya Lava-Is a innovative animation software designed for the creation of children's animated series which
feature prominment use of geometric "stick figures".

Babya Shake:Morph is a image morpher that can export to AVI for use in video production or to WMV with Babya WMEnc.

Babya Shake:Surfacer can generate 3D surfaces and terrains from a video source with image processing techniques as well as from a random or fractal source.

Babya Eruption-Is based on the popular Babya Firestorm (featured on several websites and in the print media),
allowing easy creation of action, volcanic style scenes-also ideal for keyframing.
