Parents should be aware of a recall of BabyLegs® leg warmers and socks that has been issued by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada. The recall is considered voluntary, and was in agreement with Baby United, LLC.

There has been one report of an infant choking when a heart shaped appliqué detached. The infant involved in this report was stated to be okay. However, all such BabyLegs ® Austen Leg Warmers, Ode Socks and Sonnet Knee High Socks are on the recall list to prevent any more incidents.

Approximately 4,500 leg warmers and socks are part of this BabyLegs ® recall. The clothing items involved in this recall includes only the ankle-high socks, knee-high socks and leg warmers that have the heart appliqué. The BabyLegs ® items were sold throughout the United States.

The clothing items that are part of the BabyLegs ® recall were made in China. The socks and leg warmers that are part of the BabyLeg s® are pictured with this article. For more information on the recall and details about a replacement for the BabyLegs ® items visit this website.
