Baby's First: Stocking Stuffers for Infants

PamIam
Chances are you are looking forward to baby's first Christmas with much anticipation. You remember how magical Christmas was for you as a child and want to share that with your own child. It can be hard to celebrate Christmas in all the ways you remember with an infant. Try these stocking stuffers that keep infants in mind to fill your baby's first stocking to the brim with holiday treats.

Baby's First Christmas Paraphernalia
Chances are you'll want at least a couple items that commemorate baby's first Christmas. There are many baby's first Christmas items that include the year and some will even monogram your baby's initials or name. A special Christmas ornament is a must, but there are lots of practical and fun items ranging from bibs to dolls just for baby's first Christmas.

Baby Friendly Treats
Candy for baby is a big no-no. If you have an older baby that is eating finger foods, it may be tempting to stick some sugary treats in there stocking. Instead give them something healthier and appropriate for their age. Try Gerber Finger Foods such as fruit flavored Wagon Wheels or Puffs.

Little Treasures
The small treasures that fill up stockings are one of my favorite things about Christmas. It can be hard to find such things that appropriate for baby's Christmas stocking. Toys in baby's stocking need to be age appropriate and not a potential choking hazard. These items are just the right size to delight your little one.

Large Rolling Turtle from Nova Natural
The large rolling turtle is great for an older baby who is beginning to play with toys. The turtle's wheels make it easy to scoot him across the floor. The marble on turtle's back spins providing visual interest and make turtle easy to grasp.

Baby Boo Silks from Nova Natural
These play silks are sized just right for baby. They can be used for games of peek-a-boo, snuggling, or covering baby dolls. With endless possibilities for use the Baby Boo Silk will be a stocking stuffer that will be used in many years to come. Choose from six different colors.

Squeak-Squeak by Haba
Squeak-Squeak is a beautiful wooden rattle who looks like a mouse. His body and arms clack together when shaken by baby. He, also, makes a good friend for teething baby,

Felted Balls from A Toy Garden
This set includes three, colorful, felted, wool balls. These are just the right size for little hands learning to grasp and throw. These felted balls will be used for many years by your child.

California Baby Bubble Bath
Make bath time a little more fun for your baby with the special addition Holiday Cheer Aromatherapy Bubbly Bath by California Baby. Perfect for even a newborn this bubble bath contains no harsh chemical or artificial fragrences. Essential oils provide a relaxing scent for mom and baby. A bubble wand is included with the bubble bath which is a neat extra touch.

Board Books
Start a love for reading early by adding a couple of board books to baby's Christmas stocking. Most board books are just the right size for sticking in stockings and their durable material makes them great for babies. Many classic children's stories are available in a board book format. Why not try Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown?

Organic Blossom Baby from Magic Cabin
Babies are fascinated by other babies and Christmas is the perfect time for a first doll. The organic blossom baby is made of soft, organic, cotton terry and sized right for baby's. They are great for baby to snuggle up with at nap time or for beginning doll play. Blossom babies are available in blue and pink.

Great ideas! Too bad I don't have any infants to buy gifts for, but that will likely change sometime in the future when I become a grandma. :)

Great ideas! My girls love(d) the board books, especially the small ones that could easily fit in a purse or diaper bag (and that are ideal stocking sizes!).
