Bachelor Brad Womack a Changed Man or Not? (Video Link)

Brad Womack, the notorious bad-boy Bachelor from Season 11 is back on ABC's hit show for Season 15 which aired last night (Monday, January 3). Womack made quite a bad impression on Season 11 which ran from September 24 through November 19, 2007 when he became the first bachelor to reject all of the bachelorettes.

But has Brad Womack really changed as he promised the 30 contestants of Season 15 last night?

One might think so as he truly seemed embarrassed to come face-to-face with both Season 11 final Bachelor contestants, Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft. The awkward conversation showed a visibly shaken Brad who faced now-married Jenni and an engaged Deanna Pappas.

After that awkward encounter, Womack then met the first of his 30 potential wives, Chantal who slapped him for what he had done in Season 11. Chantal, 28 and an executive assistant from Seattle, claimed she did so him "on behalf of all American women".

Brad's reaction to Chantal's bold move was a simple as he said, "I deserved that. But I like you even more now."

Later in his blog, Brad wrote about the encounter with Chantal stating, "Which brings me to ... THE SLAP. ABC has been running promos in order to grab the viewers' attention and to give a little insight as to what the new season holds. Well, as my luck would have it, "The Slap" was included on almost every single one of those damned promos! I have been asked about "The Slap" more times than I care to count. Let me answer some of the questions: YES, the slap was VERY real. NO, the producers did not add a sound effect to make it louder. Unfortunately, they didn't have to - Chantal O. has one hell of a right hook. And lastly, no, I did not know it was coming. My thoughts immediately afterward: "This is going to be a very long night." Thankfully, Chantal and I did clear the air a little bit later that evening. "

Brad Womack came back to The Bachelor claiming he has changed in the three years since Season 11 expired. After extensive therapy and "self-reflection", Womack says he is a changed man stating after watching the finale of Season 11, "I watched the finale, and I felt like a jerk. And then I'm starting to think, what's wrong with me? Not what's wrong with the girls -- what's wrong with me?"

Only time will tell if Womack has changed and means what he says. One might speculate he's sincere while on the other hand, it could be that Womack simply misses the spotlight and ABC truly enjoys using previous Bachelors and Bachelorettes over and over again.

Regardless of his motivations, one thing is probably fairly certain. Brad Womack will not end Season 15 as he did Season 11. No one makes that same mistake twice. Right?
