Bachelor Brad Womack's Women, a Vampire, Rockette, and Heartrending Beauty (Video Links)

Brad Womack, retread of ABC's The Bachelor Season 15, met 30 women last night on The Bachelor premiere. Based on what Womack did to the two finalists of Season 11, Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft, (whom he also faced last night), perhaps karma has stepped in to repay Brad by sending a creepy vampire and an odd Rockette.

For instance, there is Madison Garton who loves to pretend being a vampire. She's got the fangs and all to prove it, yet, instead of finding this odd, Brad almost seemed amused and ended up giving Madison a rose at the end.

And then Brad met Keltie, who says she is a Rockette. Keltie came out of the limo upon meeting Brad for the first time by performing some very high kicks for the bachelor in a very short baby doll dress. Brad took it all in stride and ended up rewarding Keltie with a rose.

The one woman who may end up being a serious Season 15 contender, however, was 24-year-old Emily Maynard whose background was heartbreaking. While in high school Maynard fell in love with NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick and eventually became his fiancé. However, in 2004 Ricky's plane crashed and he along with nine others died.

Some good news did come out of that tragedy, however, when Maynard found out she was pregnant with Ricky's baby a few days after the funeral. Now, Maynard is raising a five-year-old daughter and wanting to find true love.

So while Brad Womack may deserve a second chance, it was perhaps apropos that he had to deal with a vampire and zesty Rockette before discovering some real treasures among the lot.
