Bachelor Final Four Predictions and Picks

Chris Houston
Bachelor predictions and picks aren't easy any year--but this year is even more difficult. Why is that the case? Brad Womack has narrowed it down to four really terrific women. Unlike many years in the past, Brad Womack has actually selected four women who have yet to show off major character flaws. There was almost always someone in the past on The Bachelor that slipped through the cracks despite being thoroughly hated by the other women.

So what are my 2011 The Bachelor predictions and picks? Just to note, I have stayed clear of any Bachelor rumors, Bachelor spoilers or even Bachelor blogs this season. I know guys like Reality Steve have probably already posted who the woman is who wins the hand of Brad Womack. To keep my predictions honest, I have steered clear of that stuff just so I can make my own annual predictions without any interference. In other words, I want to make my own Bachelor predictions without spoilers or rumors to bias my guesses.

With that said, I think the easiest choice Brad Womack could make is Emily. Emily has been the girl Brad admits to being seriously attracted to from the very start. Emily, who lost her other only love in a plane crash, also has a daughter who she will introduce to Brad Womack in the next show(we only know this from watching the teases!).
If I were a betting man, I would guess it is Emily's game to win. Unless Emily begins to withdraw I believe she will win hands down and be offered the final rose by Brad Womack.

What's going to happen on the Monday night edition of The Bachelor? Brad Womack will visit the hometowns of the four remaining women. The four remaining women are Emily, Ashley, Chantal and Shawntel. What are my predictions on who will be eliminated next on The Bachelor?

I think Shawntel must have a creepy date with Brad from what the preview showed last week. My guess is she is as good as gone and had the least amount of connection to Brad entering the Final Four hometown dates. I think Chantal is becoming a bit too anxious and my Bachelor predictions say Brad will keep Ashley and Emily around for the final two. If I had to place odds on the final four-I would say Emily is a 1-1 favorite, Ashley is 3-1, Chantal is 4-1 and Shawntel is 8-1. My Bachelor predictions don't have either Chantal(Shawntel) winning the final rose.

Is there a scenario where I see Brad picking Ashley in my The Bachelor predictions? I think Ashley has a decent shot but only if Emily begins to pull away and withdraw from Brad Womack. Emily just has appeared flawless on the show and perhaps the only question for Brad will be if Emily is actually ready for a new relationship after suffering such a devastating loss. Let's hope she does because Emily seems like a terrific catch. As much as I've given Brad a hard time in previous columns, I truly believe the guy has worked wonders to pick out four really incredible women--or at least it looks that way from what we have seen on the edited version of The Bachelor.

What do The Bachelor spoilers say? I'll probably read what people like Reality Steve have to say after I write my final article on the predictions of the Final two. I'm not quite ready to ruin the fun of figuring out what may or may not happen based on the clues that producers of the show have delivered to us. I wasn't that intrigued when Brad Womack was named as the new Bachelor this season-but the show certainly has provided some pretty compelling moments. Michelle Money was a good villain type. Emily has provided the complete "girl next door" type and funeral home worker Shawntel has provided that little bit of weirdness we always expect. The show has delivered a decent season considering some thought the placement of Brad Womack was a terrible re-hash(myself included).

Womack seems sincere in finding the right girl this time around and his elimination of Michelle Money finally put some credibility into that thought. Will more The Bachelor spoilers emerge over the coming days? It's certain that somebody somewhere has probably already found enough information to put forward the details of what happens during the final rose ceremony. I know some reading this column will probably already know or have a good idea of what those details are-to those I say please spare me the details for a week or two so I can once again watch the show pan out during real TV time. How else could it be worth investing that much time and watching it? In other words, I don't need any stinkin "The Bachelor" spoilers!!
