This weeks episode of The Bachelorette started with contestant Frank admitting to the camera he might still be in love with his ex-girlfriend, and ended with him leaving the show for his ex.

In his one on one interview Frank said, "I might still be in love with Nicole...and I don't know what to do."

Producers for The Bachelorette and ABC hinted at the impending trouble for Ali the week before in the trailer for the following week's episode. Many viewers said they had a feeling Frank would leave Ali for Nicole. Sources with the hit show said they weren't surprised Frank left either and said he has been conflicted about his ex since the show started.

Frank went on to tell the camera it was "killing" him to have feelings for two girls.

The Bachelorette flew Ali and the men to the island of Tahiti for this weeks episode. Ali took turns running in the sand, swimming and eating with each of the guys on "dates".

Frank went to visit his ex Nicole and in an emotional interview Frank told Nicole he had feelings for Ali, but "I had these feelings that were brewing inside me. When I lay down and go to bed at night, why am I thinking about Nicole?"

Nicole told Frank how much she loved him and missed him before telling his he completed her. Frank said after the reunion, "This is exactly what I needed to realize I'm in love with Nicole. Nicole is the woman I want to be with for the rest of my life. Trusting my instincts and following my heart has paid off...I think I'm going to live happily ever after with her and that's what I've always wanted."

But back to the matter of telling Ali about his feelings for Nicole, while Ali was still in Tahiti.

When Ali and the guys returned to the mansion Frank tried to break the news to Ali, but it turned into an emotional moment for both of them.

The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison said in an interview with TV Guide he wants to sit down and do an after show interview with Frank Neushchaefer in the near future to get his side of the story. Harrison called Frank dumping Ali the "easy way out."

Harrison also said Frank seemed uneasy about doing the show as time went on and saw going back to Chicago and his ex an easy way to get off the show.

Harrison said in the interview, "He was having a tough time dealing with Ali and the situation so it seemed a little convenient that it all piled on his shoulders and then he bailed. The way it went down doesn't feel right, or cohesive. It left more questions than answers. Obviously he was having these thoughts for weeks. So why wait until then to even say anything?"

Harrison said he didn't understand why Frank didn't say anything about his ex until he was near the end of the show saying Ali could have picked another man she really wanted to keep in the show.

DeAnna Pappas, star of The Bachelorette Season 5 also said Neushchaefer should have left the show sooner saying, "If he was a real man, he could have gone home early on - especially if he was having second guesses and missed his ex girlfriend. He shouldn't have done that to Ali and make her fall more and more in love with him."

But neither Harrison or Pappas thinks Frank was out to hurt Ali.

Harrison said it isn't uncommon for contestants to get cold feet or have feelings for the ones they left back home, but those contestants are usually weeded out early in the series.

Ali told Entertainment Tonight she was hurt when Frank left her and said she had real feelings for him.

While Ali may not have Frank as one of her final choices in the August 2nd season finally, Ali did admit to ET she does get engaged to the man she picks and plans to marry him in early 2011. Only time will tell if this relationship will last like Trista and Ryan or burn out like Jake and Vienna.
