'Bachelor Pad 2' Cast Tapping Into Curious Drama, Feuds
Reality Steve Reveals More 'Bachelor Pad 2' Contestants
COMMENTARY | Previously, Ryan Seacrest had revealed the names of five contestants for the upcoming season of "Bachelor Pad." Now, columnist Reality Steve has extended that list to 15.
On the women's side, contestants include Alli Travis, Michelle Money, Melissa Schreiber, Jackie Gordon, Vienna Girardi, Ashleigh Hunt, Holly Durst, and Erica Rose.
On the men's side, contestants include Justin Rego, Graham Bunn, Kasey Kahl, Kirk DeWindt, Michael Stagliano, Jake Pavelka, and Tanner Pope.
We can already see potential awkwardness between former lovebirds Vienna and Jake and Holly and Michael, as these two couples were formerly engaged. There is no love lost between Vienna and Jake; they are not even on speaking terms. To complicate matters, Jake will spend the summer watching his ex and her current squeeze, Kasey.
I'm almost tempted to root for troublemakers Vienna and Kasey, if only to see smarmy Jake's reaction.
I'm not terribly surprised to see token villains Justin "Rated R" and Michelle Money on the cast list for "Bachelor Pad 2." Whether or not they are as insidious as the editors made them out to be, these characters are ratings gold.
It will also be interesting to see how a showdown between Michelle and Jackie plays out. At the last "Women Tell All" special, Jackie made it perfectly clear how she felt about Michelle's confessionals. Then again, Jackie may have only criticized Michelle in order to increase her chances of being cast on "Pad."
Tanner may end up serving as a resident goofball, as viewers remember him as the harmless but eccentric "foot fetish" guy from Jillian's season.
I'm not sure why Alli or Melissa made the cast list, unless "Bachelor Pad" just needed some potential early-round contestants for elimination. Alli was not a particularly memorable character on Brad's season, and viewers never really cared about Melissa's feud with "manscaper" Raichel.
I was surprised not to see Rozlyn Papa on Reality Steve's list, as she appeared on Seacrest's original list. Then again, Reality Steve's list is not yet official.
Other "Bachelor Pad 2" cast members have yet to be decided, including men from Ashley's season. I'm guessing resident D-bag Bentley and phantom Jeff "The Mask" could make an appearance.
