"Bachelor Pad 2" Shocker-Jake and Vienna to Appear

Want a "Bachelor Pad 2" shocker well before the season ever airs? How about a former "Bachelor" couple together again but not together? Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi may have parted ways after walking off into the apparent sunset on "The Bachelor." The two have since went through a painful public breakup seen during an episode of the ABC reality television show. But they must not hate one another enough to stay clear from a future reality appearance.

As if we didn't get enough of the Jake and Vienna story, People Magazine reports the two are expected to headline the new cast on the ABC reality show "Bachelor Pad 2." The two aren't the only controversial figures on the cast of the summer show-which will follow "The Bachelorette" Ashley season.

Remember Justin the wrestler? The guy who faked his leg injury is going to be back in the mix. And how about crazed mom Michelle Money? The girl who was so competitive she wished for ill things on her fellow contestants during her on-camera interviews? Kasey Kahl, who got the tattoo with the whole promise to protect the heart agenda, is also expected to be among cast members for "Bachelor Pad 2."

So is this a "Bachelor Pad 2" shocker before the show even airs? How will Jake and Vienna mesh or will they completely avoid one another? Is there a chance the duo will get back together? It seems unlikely considering their harsh break up on national television during a taped interview post "The Bachelor." It was kind of awful to watch. So awful fans might have even thought the entire relationship was fake. And then there's the whole "abs" issue. Jake Pavelka, an airline pilot, was so quick to show his abs at every opportunity. With a summer show, I think we can fully expect Jake to show off his abs to the cameras, Vienna and anyone willing to see them during "Bachelor Pad 2."

The show was pretty cheesy the first time around. Perhaps "Bachelor Pad 2" will be elevated a bit to provide a few more moments we can stomach this time around. With the cast of "Bachelor Pad 2" in tact, it seems some great theater might be coming our way. It seems inevitable there will be some controversy from the start of the show with Jake and Vienna tossed back into the mix. That might guarantee ratings from the start for the ABC reality show. What happens after that could determine whether "Bachelor Pad 2" is well received for the rest of what will be a short season.

So when will "Bachelor Pad 2" premiere? The first show is expected to air on August 8.
